Last weekend, I went to the Veterans Memorial Hospital to visit my grandmother.
She was in the ICU. She had stroke and she hit her head which caused half of her body to be paralyzed. The name of my lola is Esperanza but us, grandkids, call her 'Lola Pang.'
And the sight was so saddening. My tears fell as soon as I saw my lola.
