Irid

We went with our friends to climb Mt. Irid last weekend. This served as the 2nd leg of our training for a major climb this coming Holy Week. We should have already climbed this mountain way back in January but we went for Tukduan Banoi instead. See selected moments from our climb in Mt. Irid:

Me on the summit: It took us around 3 hours to reach the top. We needed to be extra careful since there were rocks and boulders along the trail.

Rafflesia flower: Also called the 'corpse flower.' But I didn't sense the smell of death at all. Maybe because the flower was already withered.
